Jim Freund has been involved in producing radio programs of and about literary sf/f since 1967, when he began working at New York City's WBAI-FM at age 13. An audiobook, Chatting Science Fiction, of some recent noted interviews for his radio show, Hour of the Wolf, was released last year.

Jim is producer and curator of the NY Review of SF Readings in Brooklyn and viewable on Livestream. He is also the host of the Lightspeed Magazine podcast, and has begun producing audiobooks through Skyboat Media.
